MEET YOUR TEACHER
A teacher of everything — starting in the water
Orit Feldman has spent twenty years teaching: children in the water, women on the mat, landlords at the closing table, and business owners in their own shops. The subject changes. The teaching doesn’t.
🏊 In the water — since 2017
Lifeguard and swim instructor with Sunsational Swim School, Florida Swim Company, Aqua Mobile Swim, and Camp Ramah — evaluating every student and writing an individual plan for each one. Motek Swim School, her own school, grew to about twenty private clients, nearly all by referral, at homes and condos across Aventura–Miami.
🎓 The education
A Master’s in Early Childhood Education (Adelphi University), classroom teaching from preschool up, fluent Hebrew. That training is the method behind every lesson plan in every subject she teaches: evaluate the person, build the plan around them, adjust as they grow.
🥋 On land — since 2014
Martial arts teaching is where the patience, the discipline, and the reading of a nervous student’s body language come from — students from 18 months to 70 years old. Today her own classes run at private homes and in small groups, built for women, girls heading to college, and the Jewish community.
The same teacher, other classrooms
Teaching is also how Orit runs her other work. She has managed property for 20 years and now teaches small landlords through the Small-Landlord Kit; she built the dispatch and receivables system inside a working locksmith company and teaches it to trade shops through FLOW; and through BizHealers she coaches people starting businesses of their own — formation, permits, apprentices, grants. A swim lesson, a self-defense series, and a business consult are the same appointment wearing different clothes.
